But don't confuse "good for the price" with "right for the job." The MN35 doesn't have the same safety certifications or build consistency as professional-grade meters.

5. Which Fluke multimeter should I buy for general electrical work?

This might be the single most asked question in my inbox. The honest answer: it depends on what you do daily. There's no universal "best" Fluke—there's the best Fluke for your specific work.

For most electricians and maintenance techs, the Fluke 117 is the sweet spot. It's a workhorse with non-contact voltage detection, a solid CAT III rating, and a proven track record.
